Discovery Science Center, Orange, California. Exterior Portion.
For over 35 years, Discovery Science Foundation has been a non-profit organization impacting the lives of children through hands-on science education. Several locations now exist in the western U.S. The Orange County, California location, in the city of Orange, was built with a large cube utilized as a "icon", and as several levels of learning/science space... The "Cube" is highly visible from Interstate 5 in the city of Orange.
This building was a project that I was involved in during the late 1990s. I prepared the state required (Environmental Impact Report - EIR) environmental compliance document for the City in my former life as an environmental consultant.
