Beautiful duck and I love the water's abstract reflections. I appreciated seeing this fine image and with the naming of the species, it is now featured on the home page of Wild Birds Of The World - A Nature Photography Group.

Beautiful shot. I have a strong affinity for mallards, having once been a painter at a factory where we made decorative duck decoys. The male mallard was always my favorite to paint.
