Description
An inviting bench at the Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary, Orange County, CA.
The Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1929 for bird observation in the Sana Ana Mountains. The Sanctuary offers diverse habitats and an abundance of wildlife with over 85 species of birds. Family-friendly walking trails, a seasonal stream, wildlife viewing areas, and picnic areas provide a great opportunity to view Orange County's natural environment.
Owned and operated by Cal-State Fullerton, the Sanctuary serves as a College Research Center for biology, hydrology, geology, botany, astronomy, entomology, landscape art, environmental studies, teacher training and more. The Sanctuary is located off of Modjeska Canyon in Santiago, CA., in the hills of eastern Orange County.
