Criss Cross 2.
Watercolor. Layered watercolor abstract. Watercolor painted strips of paper, painted in medium pastel colors. Paper is cut and torn and interwoven (to pass back and forth through or over and under). That is then overlaid on a larger art paper painted in striped washes of the same colors. Finally the outside edges of the background art paper are torn.
One of two. This piece can be purchased as shown or in combination with "Criss Cross 1" to create a dyptych for your wall... Two piece framed dyptych art is great for larger wall spaces. And abstract pieces are fun conversational pieces.
This piece can be turned in any direction.
