Description
Cloudless Sulpher Abstract.
Phoebis sennae, the cloudless sulphur, is a mid-sized butterfly in the family Pieridae found in the Americas. There are several similar species such as the yellow angled-sulphur, which has angled wings, statira sulphur, and other sulphurs, which are much smaller.
Plumbago auriculata is from South America and is relatively fast growing. This perennial shrub grows to a height of 36-48 inches with a width of 30 inches in some cases. Imperial Blue Plumbago has light blue flowers that are prolific during the warmer months of the year. It requires full sun but will bloom in partial shade and is frost tender. Blue Plumbago makes a wonderful pot plant or patio plant in areas where frost occurs and the plant needs to be protected.
